Direct access to the top of the firm, sensitive data, and the freedom to shape how a leading hedge fund runs.
You're joining one of the most data and technology driven hedge funds in the industry, and this is not a typical software engineering role. You're not building transaction systems. You're processing data to generate insights, spotting inefficiencies, and genuinely improving how the business operates at every level.
What makes this different is the access you'll have...
Your background can be in or outside of finance. You'll be working directly with the top ten people across the firm on a regular basis - That kind of exposure is rare in any business, let alone in a lean, high-performing hedge fund where the engineering team is trusted with some of the most sensitive data in the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
