Local Delivery Driver (Category B/C)

About the Role

Do you want more local driving and to be a valued member of a delivery team? This could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll enjoy a varied role, including local driving and building strong relationships with our regular customers.

As one of our drivers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries on time and with excellence. This is a 7-day operation, so shifts may include weekend work.

Notable points:

  • Flexibility: We offer shift patterns that include some weekend working.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering products to customers efficiently, ensuring their shelves stay fully stocked
  • Loading stock into vehicles at the branch
  • Unloading stock accurately at customer premises
  • Completing and ensuring comprehensive paperwork is accurate
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers

Requirements

To apply, you will need:

  • Valid driving licence (Cat B/3.5T) required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, ideally including delivery driving
  • Ability to carry out manual deliveries
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive customer service attitude to deliver the highest standards
  • A strong level of literacy and numeracy
