360 Excavator Operator ( tracked & lifting ops)
Excavator Operator – Night Shifts (7PM–5AM) | Contract Role | ASAP Start
Location: Southampton

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for several Excavator Operators to carry out essential heavy machinery work across various civil engineering and tunnelling projects.
Key Tasks:
- Mucking away (clearing and removing spoil)
- Excavation of foundations
- Deep drainage works
- Leveling and grading surfaces

Responsibilities
- Operate excavators efficiently and safely on site
- Assist in site preparation tasks, including digging, levelling, and drainage work
- Operate in accordance with arrow planning, ensuring tasks are completed to specification
Requirements
The ideal candidate must:
- Hold a valid CPCS Card (Blue)
- Supporting above-ground and below-ground excavation expertise
- Assessed capability for tracked excavators (tracked 10+ tonnes, lifting capabilities)
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing—aligning with our LIFE culture safety initiative
- Understand and prioritise safety protocols alongside productivity
