About SALT

SALT is a global digital talent consultancy specialising in Marketing, Creative, Technology, Sales, and Operations. We partner with some of the world's most recognised brands, helping them secure high-calibre freelance and contract talent across the UK and internationally. As our contract division continues to grow, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially driven 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our Marketing team. This is an opportunity to develop long-term client relationships, and work on exciting freelance recruitment projects with leading brands and agencies.

The Role

As a 360 Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle across freelance and contract marketing positions. You'll focus on both business development and candidate delivery, building strong relationships with clients and contractors while driving revenue growth within your market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys winning new business, developing key accounts, and operating in a fast-paced, consultative recruitment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound sales activity.
  • Build and manage relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, social media, and market mapping.
  • Conduct client meetings, vacancy briefings, and workforce planning discussions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and recruitment agreements.

Candidate Management

  • Source, attract, and engage freelance marketing professionals.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and qualification calls.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of contract and interim talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate journey from initial engagement through placement and onboarding.
  • Provide market insights and career advice to candidates.

Recruitment Delivery

  • Manage multiple live contract vacancies simultaneously.
  • Write compelling job advertisements and candidate communications.
  • Present shortlisted candidates to clients with clear rationale and supporting information.
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback, offers, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure high levels of process management and stakeholder communication throughout the hiring process.

Account Management

  • Develop and grow existing client relationships.
  • Drive repeat business and identify opportunities for additional support.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience to both clients and candidates.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and hiring demand within the marketing sector.

What We're Looking For

  • Recruitment experience in either a 360, business development, or delivery capacity.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a proven ability to achieve targets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilient, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
