We’re a profitable video games company with 15 million monthly players, and we’re hiring a 3D Environment Artist to join our 12-person founding team.

About us

We’re growing Bloxd, a multiplayer gaming platform where anyone can play, build, and share editable worlds. Through superfun games and playful visuals, Bloxd is already inspiring a new generation of players around the world with the endless possibilities of voxel gaming. Play our games at bloxd.io.

Our tech

Bloxd is built around voxel worlds, player creativity, and familiar block-based workflows. We support existing voxel-based tools and formats such as .schem, and we’re continuing to develop our own in-game creative toolset to let players edit worlds at scale, as well as import and export regions of blocks as .bloxdschem files.

The job

We’re looking for an environment artist to shape the future of voxel worlds: playful, readable, expressive, and full of personality. You’ll collaborate with game developers to design and create environments, maps, 2D sprites, and 3D models that delight our players and broaden Bloxd’s appeal. The role will involve both visual world-building and level design, with plenty of opportunity to shape how spaces feel, flow, and play. This role is especially well-suited to someone with experience making maps, designing levels, and creating assets for block-based voxel sandboxes. We care more about strong composition, readability, gameplay feel, and creative world-building than high-fidelity 3D production.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
