Important Compensation Note
This is a revenue-share position, not a monthly salaried role. You will receive an agreed percentage of the game’s revenue after launch. This is not a co-founder or company equity offer; it is a straightforward project-based collaboration.
About TINK TEAM
TINK TEAM LTD is a UK-based independent game studio currently developing multiple PC games for Steam. We are looking for a Mid–Senior or Senior Game UI/UX Designer to help us create clear, polished, and player-friendly interfaces for our games.
What You Will Do
- Design HUDs, menus, popups, overlays, and gameplay screens.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and final UI designs.
- Improve menu navigation, onboarding, tutorials, and player feedback.
- Turn gameplay systems into clear and intuitive interfaces.
- Prepare UI assets for implementation in Unity.
- Work closely with developers, game designers, artists, and producers.
- Maintain consistent layouts, typography, icons, colours, and visual styles.
- Review implemented UI and provide improvement feedback.
- Senior candidates may also help define the overall UI/UX direction, create style guides, and build reusable UI design systems.

Requirements
- Professional experience in game UI/UX design.
- Strong understanding of HUDs, menus, screen flows, and player usability.
- Ability to create both wireframes and polished UI mockups.
- Good understanding of layout, spacing, hierarchy, readability, and consistency.
- Ability to prepare game-ready UI assets.
- Good communication and remote collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showing relevant game UI/UX work.

Nice to Have
- Experience working with Unity, UGUI, or Canvas systems.
- Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Experience designing UI for action, roguelike, co-op, survival, or shooter games.
- Knowledge of UI animation and motion design.
- Experience working on a released PC or Steam game.
- Ability to create icons, buttons, panels, and other game UI assets.
