About SkyBound
SkyBound is an innovation-led tech startup on a mission to transform public safety and emergency response. Our platform automates drones so they can reach incidents faster, deliver real-time situational awareness, and ultimately help protect lives. It’s meaningful work with genuine impact - and we’re only just getting started.
We’re now beginning the next major version of our system. This is a ground-up rebuild with new architecture, new ideas and new capabilities. You’ll be joining early enough to influence how everything is designed, built and scaled, working closely with our CTO on decisions that genuinely shape the future of the product.
Location & Working Pattern
Remote first with one day a month in Southampton.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a talented 3D Simulation Artist to help create highly realistic synthetic environments used to train and develop autonomous drone systems and AI technologies.
This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge simulation technology with real-world impact. You’ll play a key role in designing immersive, high-fidelity urban environments within Unreal Engine 5, helping to support next-generation drone autonomy, public safety applications and AI model development.
You’ll join a lean, highly collaborative team where your work will have direct visibility and influence across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
