Job Title: 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer

Employment Type:

DuPont Shift Schedule to cover 24/7/365 service, including bank holidays.

12 hr Shifts = 7am-7pm Day Shift & 7pm-7am Night Shift.

The DuPont shift pattern follows a 4-week rolling rota as follows:

  • 4 Nights, 3 Days Off
  • 3 Days, 1 Day Off, 3 Nights
  • 3 Days Off, 4 Days
  • 7 Days Off

Location:

Remote - with travel to client sites when required

Salary:

£40-£45K pa DOE

We are looking for a 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer, internally called a Technical Operations Engineer, to join our growing managed service technical operations team to support with day-to-day tasks in all aspects of our Infrastructure, Network, and Security management responsibilities. This role will be an integral part in a 24/7 operational team working under a DuPont shift pattern, ensuring uninterrupted support and coverage to our clients.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Security principles and best practices, routing and switching and WAN/LAN technologies.
  • Proficient knowledge of firewall solutions, both physical and virtual is crucial along with a strong knowledge of Fortinet SDWAN, Firewall Switch technologies, Cisco ISE and Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi.
  • Experience with operating and maintaining IT Security controls related to SIEM, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Endpoint Protection.
