3x Maintenance Contracts Manager – Civil Contractor (Hamilton & Wellington)
About the Role
ConsultANZ is seeking three Maintenance Contracts Managers to join a reputable civil contractor specialising in high-value road maintenance contracts in Hamilton & Wellington, New Zealand.
This innovative role offers full responsibility for delivering large-scale urban road maintenance projects while ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld.
The successful applicant will shape projects from planning through to execution and adoption.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistently high standards for safety, quality, and performance in all delivered contracts
- Manage commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to meet contract requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams across maintenance activities
- Drive planning and execution of works to ensure efficient and compliant results
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings, effectively representing contract progress and performance

Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
- Broad experience in civil infrastructure & road maintenance contract delivery
- Strong leadership experience in managing teams and subcontractors
- Preferable experience engaging with council or public sector infrastructure frameworks
- Robust understanding of contract delivery, commercial controls, and reporting
- Fluent in interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills

Benefits
