ConsultANZ is looking for a 3x Maintenance Contracts Manager to join a well-established civil contractor in the roading industry, delivering a high-value road maintenance contract in Hamilton & Wellington, New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for delivering a large-scale urban road maintenance contract, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently achieved
- Manage commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting against contract requirements
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Lead and coordinate site-based delivery teams across ongoing maintenance activities
- Drive the planning and execution of works to ensure efficient and compliant delivery outcomes
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings, representing contract performance and progress

Requirements:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong background in civil infrastructure or road maintenance contract delivery
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams and subcontractors
- Experience working within council or public sector infrastructure frameworks advantageous
- Strong understanding of contract delivery, commercial controls, and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills

Benefits:
- Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 NZD + vehicle + relocation support, negotiable depending on experience.
