About The Role
Sizewell C’s Marine and Tunnelling team is looking for a 4D Digital Coordinator to help drive digital delivery across a highly complex infrastructure programme. The role focuses on integrating construction methods, programmes and 3D models into time-based simulations that improve constructability, safety and programme certainty.
Working across planning, construction, engineering and digital teams, you will support 4D model development, programme validation, digital rehearsal and visual communication, helping project teams make better-informed delivery decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain 4D construction models by linking 3D models with project programmes
- Work closely with planning, methods, design, engineering and temporary works to align models and programs
- Contribute to the development of 4D standards, workflows, guidance
- Translate construction methods, logistics, sequencing and temporary works into digital simulations
- Support programme validation, scenario testing and sequence optimisation
- Identify clashes, sequencing risks, access constraints and safety issues through 4D analysis
Provide training to support project teams
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in delivering 4D deliverables on infrastructure or major construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, temporary works and buildability
- Knowledge of 4D methodologies, BIM and digital information management
- Experience linking construction programmes to 3D models using industry-standard tools (Synchro or equivalent)
- Experience working with authoring tool such as Revit, AutoCad, Tekla, Blender (Desirable) and working with visualisation tools such as 3DsMax and Unreal Engine
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across planning, engineering, construction and supply chain teams
- Strong understanding of ISO19650 and digital information management principles
- Ability to communicate complex construction sequences to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant industry experience in a similar role.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in construction, engineering, planning, digital engineering or a related discipline.
