About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer to join our MSc Project Management Programme. This initiative requires an active professional with a strong teaching background. We are particularly interested in candidates who can:
- Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including research-informed curriculum development and engaging in research and enterprise activities.
- Collaborate effectively within large programme and module teams.
- Contribute to high-quality, innovative, and inclusive teaching, including innovative assessment design and marking approaches.
- Enhance the research profile of the Networks and Urban Systems Centre and support the REF (Research Excellence Framework) submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver teaching sessions, including curriculum development aligned with research.
- Supervise student assessments, ensuring fair, inclusive, and high-quality evaluation.
- Engage in collaborative curriculum development across modules and programmes.
- Contribute to enterprise and industry engagement, aligning programmes with professional practice.
- Foster a research-informed teaching environment and participate in relevant research activities.
- Support the ** chambre's research strategy**, particularly within the focus areas of the Networks and Urban Systems Centre.

Person Specification – Essentials
- A qualification in Project Management, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in teaching or training, ideally at degree-level universities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in inter-disciplinary academic teams.
- Strong educational leadership skills for delivering progressive teaching practices.
Desirables
- Experience in curriculum innovation, aligned with QAA standards.
- Prior industry experience or a substantive career in Project Management.
- Published research or engaged in business enterprise initiatives.
- Familiarity with sustainable/urban project initiatives and their impact on system networks.
