7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: DPD Swindon - Unit 3, Interface Business Park, Binknoll Lane, Royal Wootton Bassett, SN4 8SY

About the Role
As a DPD Driver, you’ll be more than just a vehicle operator—you’ll be a problem-solver, a customer advocate, and a key part of delivering a reliable and sustainable service.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive: Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle across designated local routes (approx. 50 stops daily).
- Tech: Use handheld Saturn devices for efficient delivery management, tracking, and progress updates.
- Connect: Serve as the friendly, approachable face of DPD—building rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Move: Load and unload parcels using equipment like a sack barrow or hand truck, ensuring safe handling of heavier items.

The Perks
Competitive Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: £16.05/hour
- Enhanced overtime rates.
- Contract: Permanent (40 hours/week)
- Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM, Monday to Friday

Requirements & Qualifications
**Essential:
✅ Valid UK HGV Class C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence. ✅ Driver CPC/DQC accreditation. ✅ At least 6 months’ recent experience driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle.
