7.5T Driver/Loader
Salary: £31,807.23 Grade: Ops Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30 Location: Dover Depot, Tower Hamlets Road, Dover, Kent CT17 0BL

What you'll be doing;

- Driving to planned collection locations and loading food waste into the vehicle.
- Driving 7.5 Food Waste Vehicles to support the service.
- Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
- Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure their work environment is safe and clean at all times.
- Working closely with your team to ensure that all-round information is completed daily from your onboard service.
- Ensuring that Veolia complies with their contractual obligations eg any spillages are cleaned up.
- Ensuring the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left clear of litter, uniform and personal items at the end of your shift.
- Accurately complete paperwork.
- Report any accidents to depot management.
What we're looking for;
Essential:
- 7.5T Licence
- An up-to-date CPC / DIGI card
- Ability to work well as a team member, with excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills are essential
Desirable:
- Local geographical knowledge is highly desirable
- Prior Experience in the waste industry
