We’re excited to welcome experienced 7.5 tonne drivers to join our dedicated Transport team at our flagship Ascot Drive Bakery! Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in bringing our freshly made, much-loved products to our local shops.
In your cover letter, please specify if you are looking for full-time work or if you wish to solely work Sundays, on the application itself.
Please note that you must have a Clean, C1 Driving licence, CPC card and Digi card to apply for this position.

Purpose
As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Birds products with care and efficiency, ensuring our stores are stocked and ready for customers. Your journey doesn’t end there; you’ll also return empty racks and cabinets back to the Bakery, helping keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Load/unload vehicles; manual handling of rolling equipment and no hand balling involved
- Ensure vehicle loads are safe and secured with the appropriate restraints as per Company procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- Perform daily vehicle defect checks and log as necessary

Shifts
Full-time days of work are Monday to Saturday or Sunday to Friday. Hours of work are 3.30am/4am to 11am/12pm, 42 hours per week.
Experience
Applicants must be of smart appearance and ideally have good knowledge of the local area but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Qualifications
- C1 Licence
- A valid CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digi-Card
- A clean Driving Licence
