7.5T Service Driver

Provine Welfare Services – 7.5rd Tonne Service Driver

About the Role

Our Welfare Services division hires a range of portable chemical toilets, ADA-approved wheelchair access units, and mobile eco welfare units.

The duties of the 7.5-tonne Service Driver include:

  • Loading, delivery, and collection of hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting hire equipment demonstrations when on customer sites, ensuring all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately.
  • Responsibility for the service, cleaning, and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment.
  • An ability to drive responsibly and safely in compliance with all legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting welfare and portable sanitation units safely and efficiently.
  • Performing pre-delivery and post-delivery inspections of units.
  • Assisting with equipment set-up and removal on customer sites.
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Fulfilling all administrative and booking paperwork accurately.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Significant experience driving in a deliverance-based role (collecting/delivering equipment).
  • Hold a valid UK Category C1+E driving licence with Driver CPC (minimum 35 hours completed).
  • Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and commitment to following them.

Desirable:

  • Experience in towing light trailers (not essential but considered an advantage).
