About the Role: Lecturer in Fine Art
Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education and Fine Art at our London-based Kings Cross Campus. We’re seeking a passionate, energetic, and inspiring A Level Fine Art Lecturer to join our thriving team.
As a Fine Art Lecturer, your responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching for A Level Fine Art students, aligning with Edexcel requirements
- Supporting learners to achieve their potential and progress towards fulfilling their ambitions in Fine Art
- Contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and pastoral guidance
- Inspiring and motivating students to reach their goals within the creative industries or higher education
This is a part-time (0.4 FTE) permanent role, offering flexibility while allowing you to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What You, the Ideal Candidate, Bring
We’re looking for a structured mix of expertise, dedication, and creativity. Specifically:
✔ Proven experience teaching A Level Fine Art (preferred, but post-16 teaching experience in related subjects will be considered) ✔ Deep knowledge and passion for contemporary Fine Art methodologies and topics ✔ Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills ✔ A genuine commitment to inclusive, learner-centred teaching approaches ✔ A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTLS, or equivalent), or a strong willingness and eligibility to achieve this ✔ The ability to engage continuously with a diverse cohort of artists in development ✔ Unlimited warmth, enthusiasm, and an unshakable belief in student potential
