Capital City College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled A Level Physics Lecturer to join our dynamic London-based team.
About the Role
Lecturer in A Level Physics
As an A Level Physics Lecturer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality teaching in A Level Physics in line with the AQA framework
- Supporting student success through academic and pastoral guidance
- Contributing to curriculum development and progressive improvements in teaching methods
- Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their goals and pursue their chosen career paths
Working Arrangement
This position is offered on a part-time (0.2 FTE), permanent basis.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual with:
- Proven experience teaching A Level Physics (or a relevant Physics subject at a senior level)
- Strong knowledge of the AQA A Level Physics specification and its assessment requirements
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A firm commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching practices
- Proof of a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one
- Confidence working with diverse learners, adapting strategies to support a wide range of abilities
- Passion for educating the next generation and fostering a love for Physics
