**Vital Role for Lecturer in Politics
Empowering the Next Generation in London
Capital City College is seeking enthusiastic and skilled professionals to join our dynamic London-based team as a Part-Time (0.7 FTE, permanent) Lecturer for A-Level Politics.
About the Role: Lecturer in Politics
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring the next generation of skilled professionals while supporting learners in achieving their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with Edexcel A-Level Politics standards.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovative pedagogical approaches.
- Provide pastoral and academic guidance to students.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, sharing best practices.
This is an ideal role for:
- Experienced lecturers.
- Newly qualified teachers.
- Professionals transitioning into education—anyone with passion, dedication, and real-world expertise.
Please note: Experience with A-Level OCR is a bonus but not mandatory.

Requirements: About You
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Has proven expertise in Politics (A-Level or related teaching preferred).
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of A-Level OCR guidelines. -Excels in communication, organisation, and classroom management.
- Is dedicated to inclusive, learner-focused teaching methods.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a recognition of teaching qualification.
