Who We Are

Manchester City Women is a team driven by ambition, belief, and a desire to push the game forward. Founded in 1988 and relaunched in 2014, we have since grown into a consistent force in the women’s game, competing at the highest level in the UK and Europe.

  • Focus on A-Level provision in Science (specifically Chemistry or Biology), Psychology, or Economics.
  • Support students in balancing their education with elite football demands.
  • Design and teach programmes, produce learning materials, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with students’ aspirations.
  • Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to help players work towards target grades.
  • Administer education-related tasks, including:
    • Progress reporting
    • School/college liaison
    • Gathering collateral (e.g., research, reports)
    • Supporting players on hybrid and part-time training models
  • Work closely with Academy colleagues, wider football staff, and external education partners.
  • Help coordinate academic development while upholding the Club’s safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Contribute to a culture shaped by graft, pride, ambition, and respect.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
