A Licensed Engineer

Location: Luton
Employment Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5-5-4 days and nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts

Line Up Aviation is working with a leading aviation client who is looking to appoint an A Licensed Engineer to join their maintenance operation at London Luton Airport.

This is a permanent opportunity working a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights. The successful candidate must hold a UK CAA Category A Licence and have hands-on maintenance experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved data, company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and company authorisations.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, defect rectification and component replacements.
  • Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft defects.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with UK CAA regulations, company procedures and safety standards.
  • Work closely with B1/B2 Licensed Engineers, mechanics and wider maintenance teams.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement across the operation.

Essential Requirements

  • UK CAA Part-66 Category A Licence.
  • Hands-on experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.
  • Base and/or line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
  • Recognised apprenticeship, diploma or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights.
