We're looking for ambitious, driven individuals to join us as AAT Trainees to build a career in accountancy at our Loughborough or Louth locations.

What does this role involve?

Joining us as an AAT Trainee, you will be enrolled on a fully funded Level 3 AAT qualification with our training provider, Kaplan, whilst gaining practical experience within a supportive and collaborative team.

During your training contract, you will gain hands-on experience with our core service line teams - including assurance, business services, and tax - helping you to put everything you learn into action in real-life scenarios. This diverse learning plan is designed to give you a well-rounded understanding of the industry so you can discover the right career path.

You will be supported to complete the initial preparation of client accounts, assist with tax computations, prepare opening balance agreements, engagement letters and general administration as and when required.

Skills And Experience

In addition to GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4+ or equivalent and 96 UCAS points across three A-Levels (excluding General Studies), it is essential have the following skills and experience:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Effective time management to balance work and study
  • Collaborative approach to working effectively as part of a wider team
