Role Summary And Impact
Openmind, part of WPP, is an integrated agency model drawing on talent from across WPP. It has been created to accelerate the European transformation for Nestlé’s media function. Core to the solution is the advanced best data and technology capabilities, fuelled by WPP’s investment in AI, to maximise the impact of Nestlé media investment.
The role requires a true digital media professional, who is capable of handling cutting edge, exciting brands across varied sectors/categories. We are looking for Senior Director – Digital who will be responsible for managing key client relationships and playing an important role in driving the digital agenda for the respective clients. Delivering integrated digital solutions is a must to fulfil the client’s digitally driven objectives and the candidate must have the capability to help develop this with them.
Responsibilities:
Managing and being responsive to client requests, appropriately Develop meaningful responses to briefs Drive digital acceleration and application of digital planning principles. Work closely with the specialist teams to ensure you are up to date with their latest offerings Work closely with media partners on responses to briefs or pro-actives. Ongoing learning of the client’s category/competitive activity as well as the changing media landscape Attending meetings – internal, client and cross-agency Always questioning – using the insights at our disposal, either through the strategy team or business science, consider how this might affect the overall communications for clients. Take part in new business pitches and provide insightful and comprehensive communication solutions for the agency and its clients

Skills And Experience
This is a leadership role requiring proactivity and a determination to create change. You are expected to have experience in digital strategy, media planning, digital consultancy and execution wherever possible in an agency environment. Understanding of programmatic & social media landscape, trends, technologies (DMP, DSP, SSP etc.) – Preferred Curiosity – always asking meaningful questions, challenging the brief if necessary High attention to detail to ensure the team’s output is of the highest quality Proven experience in managing people and ability to adapt management style Strong team player Ability to navigate difficult client situations/manage expectations in a diplomatic way Enterprising – ability to identify and drive revenue opportunities
Your Knowledge & Abilities
Appropriate level of media agency/marketing/brand management experience Strong understanding of digital media & history of in-depth planning experience Leadership skills & experience driving regional strategy into local country teams Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) Passion for learning and openness to new challenges Organised and methodical, with excellent time and project management skills. Demonstrate proactivity and ability to work autonomously, eager to explore and discover.
