This dynamic partnership presents an outstanding ACA Trainee Graduate Apprenticeship in a prospering high-end Accountancy Practice and Corporate Finance Boutique set in the scenic location of Poundbury, Dorchester (West Dorset). Join a team tasked with advanced accountancy, taxation, corporate finance, advisory services, and exit planning—working closely with premium brands, private equity firms, and trade buyers.

Role Overview

An exceptional Graduate Trainee Apprentice position is available for an ambitious, self-motivated individual seeking to be trained by Big 4 Accountancy alumni. This programme includes Level 7 ACA qualification, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge corporate advisory—unmatched by most practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client account management across accounts preparation, statutory filings, and tax computations
  • Strategic advisory work, including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), management accounting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Direct interaction with Directors overseeing M&A, corporate finance, and founder exit strategies
  • Office administration, problem-solving, and broad exposure to business growth and buyouts

Essential Underpinnings

  • GCSEs: Grade B (6) or above in both English and Maths
  • Valid Schengen Visa/U.K right-to-work status
  • A clean, full driving licence
