Academic & School Administrator
WeDoData are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent specialist school in Inner London who are looking for an Academic Administrator. The school is known for its nurturing ethos, high academic standards and collaborative working environment.
Conveniently located in Inner London with excellent transport connections, the school is just a short walk from a local District line station, making commuting straightforward from across London.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Academic & School Administrator to lead key administrative processes that support the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration and maintenance of the school's Management Information System
- Coordinate key academic processes, including reporting cycles, assessment administration and academic calendars.
- Manage daily staff cover arrangements and maintain accurate absence records.
- Support admissions administration, pupil onboarding and the maintenance of pupil records.
- Work alongside examinations colleagues to maintain accurate examination and assessment data.
- Produce reports, monitor data quality and support wider operational planning.

Key Requirements
- Significant administrative experience, ideally within a school or education setting.
- Experience using Management Information Systems such as Arbor, SIMS, Bromcom or iSams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify improvements and solve problems independently.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: Circa £35,000–£38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Contract: Full-time, permanent, all year round
- Annual Leave: 30 days plus Bank Holidays
