Are you a qualified teacher or a subject specialist passionate about leveling the playing field for vulnerable young people? The Randstad Tuition Team is looking for dedicated Academic Tutors to provide vital 1:1 educational support to children who are looked after or in crisis care. You will focus on building confidence and bridging gaps in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science) for students who need it most.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver tailored, engaging 1:1 tuition in core subjects (KS1:KS4).
  • Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and adapt lessons to meet their emotional and academic needs.
  • Collaborate with foster carers, residential support workers, and local authorities.

What We're Looking For

  • QTS, QTLS, or a degree-level qualification in a core subject.
  • Experience tutoring or teaching children, particularly those with gaps in their education.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for one).
