About the Role
Manages all aspects of the Academy Players’ kit ensuring that all training, travel, and matchday kit is correctly ordered, prepared, printed, distributed, and laundered to meet industry standards and Club and Players’ needs. Ensures the availability and setup of equipment such as footballs, bibs, and cones.

Key Responsibilities
Kit Management
- Take lead responsibility for ensuring the correct kit is available for all Academy players and staff on a daily basis and that all match kit is prepared and packed in line with Professional Development League and PL2 standards.
- Liaise with Retail to ensure numbers are correctly ordered and printed on playing/training kits.
Logistics
- Order, sort, and distribute training, travel, and playing kit for Players and Staff, ensuring the correct kit is supplied for events, fixtures, and training sessions.
- Ensure all kit is returned to the laundry following every session and keep the laundry team updated with the training schedule and fixtures.

Operational & Planning
- Order training, travel, and match kits for the next season within budget.
- Ensure training and playing equipment (footballs at the correct pressure, bibs, cones, poles, mannequins) is available for every session.
Liaison & Reporting
- Liaise with medical and coaching staff regarding special circumstances, such as:
- Injured players at training
- First Team players in B Team fixtures
- Order all footballs for the new season and liaise with coaching staff on additional training requirements.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to report progress of academy kit strategy.
- Provide real-time stock level reports to Academy Management.
Professional Responsibilities
- Present a professional image, acting as a representative of Nottingham Forest FC.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional distance, and engaging relationships with players and senior staff.
- Promote a culture that embraces diversity and eliminates discrimination.
Additional Requirements
Travel & Availability
- Must work on home and away match days (travel + overnight stays)
- Flexible approach to working hours due to early mornings and late finishes

Licensing & Safety
- Hold a full UK driving licence to operate the club vehicle.
- Uphold safeguarding standards and remain vigilant to the wellbeing of all minors/vulnerable adults
Preferred Candidate
Attributes
- Exceptional attention to detail, punctuality, and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills (verbal & written)—fluent in IT, including:
- MS Office
- Intranets
- Web & Outlook
Experience
- Proven experience managing kit/equipment for sports organizations
- Preferred (but not strict): football-related experience
- Knowledge & experience in a role matching these duties
Adaptability
- Comfortable working under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrate PA/administration skills, and portfolio fostering:
- Strong verbal & written explanation
- Diplomacy in handling sensitive/difficult situations
- Multi-tasking skills
