Job Location: Academy Training Ground, Br9 1NZ Contract Type: Casual Contact (0-hours) Deadline: 5th July 2026

About This Role

Crystal Palace FC is seeking qualified part-time sports therapists/physiotherapists to join our Cat 1 Academy Medical Department, covering weekly match-day medical provision for academy players.


Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage acute injuries/pitchside medical emergencies within qualified clinical scope.
  • Remain flexible, committing to evenings, weekends, and unsocial hours.
  • Work under the guidance of our Academy Physiotherapists and Head of Academy Medical, delivering emergency services and reporting to players/parents.
  • Maintain fixture/session coverage quotas on a monthly basis to ensure employment.
  • Follow dedicated injury-protocol procedures.
  • Uphold and promote Medical Department values and policies.
  • Perform other duties as deemed suitable by your senior team.
  • Endorse Club policies (including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities).

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

✅ Education or Registration:

  • BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy/Sports Therapy (or equivalent).
  • FA Level 5 ATMIFF (preferred) or Level 4 ITMIFF (tolerated).

✅ Trauma/Certifications:

  • UEFA or RFU Pitch-Side Trauma equivalent (Level 3 PHICIS or similar).

✅ Professional Experience: Memorable in MSK settings and ideally a professional sports environment.
