About The Role
Working as part of the Skills for Life team, you will report to the Programme Manager for Science. You will be teaching Biology units on Access to HE Health and Human Sciences Diploma. The duties will include course planning, preparation, marking homework and classwork, marking assignments, giving feedback to learners and course administration including monitoring and supporting learners to complete PLPs. You may also support with providing advice and information about science courses to a range of learners. You will also be involved in internal moderation and standardisation activities.
You will work with your colleagues to ensure high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
You will have a degree in a Biological Sciences subject or similar, a full teaching qualification and experience of teaching and assessing on an Access to HE Diploma. The post would be to start in September 2026 and lessons are scheduled to take place on Mondays 9.30-15.30.
