About the Role

Join our dynamic design team as a Design Assistant and launch your career in fashion! This ideal role for ambitious graduates offers hands-on experience in women’s accessories design—handbags, lifestyle products, and small leather goods. You’ll work closely with the Design Manager to support the creation of trend-led, commercially viable collections, reinforcing our beloved Dune London brand identity.

About You

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with:

  • A highly creative mindset and sharp attention to detail
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator)
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and the accessories market
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to grow

This is a fantastic opportunity for fashion or accessories design graduates (or equivalent) to develop expertise under a leading fashion brand.

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Trend Research: Analyse fashion and purchase trends, including social media and influencer insights, to inform innovative design concepts.
  • Concept Development: Assist in groundbreaking designs and hardware trims for seasonal collections.
  • Sketching & Technical Drawing: Execute hand sketches and CAD designs in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Material & Colour Selection: Source materials, trims, hardware, and finishes that align with Dune London’s aesthetic.
  • Sample Development Support: Prepare design specs and help transition prototypes into final products.
  • Design Documentation: Maintain tech packs and specifications and collaborate with suppliers on sampling timelines.
  • Presentation Preparation: Build mood boards and design presentations for internal reviews and key meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with footwear teams and business units to align seasonal projects.
  • Brand Alignment: Demonstrate passion for fashion and accessories, with deep knowledge of the Dune London customer and brand values.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
