Assistant Accommodation Manager
We are now looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our dynamic team at voco Belfast. This is on a 12-month fixed-term basis for Maternity Leave cover. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our accommodations department and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Accommodation Manager in all aspects of departmental operations.
- Oversee the daily tasks of the housekeeping team, ensuring adherence to high cleaning standards.
- Conduct room inspections to maintain guest room quality and identify any maintenance needs.
- Prepare and assign housekeeping schedules, ensuring efficient room turnaround.
- Liaise with the Front Office & reservations department to manage room inventory, arrivals, and departures.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Train and mentor housekeeping team members fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
- Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all guests.
- Uphold all company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in housekeeping.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in hospitality software is a plus.
