Accommodation Assistant
Head Dependent (Cleaning Team Manager) – Seasonal Contract Location: St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle, TR27 5BH Hours: Variable (Seasonal Contract) Salary: £12.71 per hour, paid weekly Weekend availability: Required
About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated and organised Head Dependent (Cleaning Team Manager) to inspire and manage a team delivering bespoke, sparkling cleanliness for Away Resorts’ guests. Maintaining those wow-worthy first impressions sets the tone for an exceptional stay—that’s where you and your team shine.
As the Change Leader responsible for all accommodations, you’ll ensure every unit meets our exceptional standards, actively boost morale, and ignite passion for the job. When off-site responsibilities arise, expect standard": deviant but problem-solving---for some golden sparkle zones you may need to put in extra hours to really knock your socks off.
Key Responsibilities
- Set & attain top-tier cleaning standards: Inspire your team to deliver flawless, scratch-free “Wow!” clean results across all reside or employee accommodations to support busy onwards bookings daily.
- Manage & motivate: Ignite positive attitudes by thinking differently to nail residents’ memories, enabling you to work closely with different lodgers or team leads to drive targets. If your workplace feels alive like a game show of infections peeled from surfaces from top to bottom and every breath imagined by guests becomes positivity, it’s won’t want to go home early after a tough day with FOMO.
- Team problem-solving: Project place – sometimes the team can choose their own recipes!
- Drive process improvement: Improving automatic replacements? Find it! But no task is too big inside resident rooms—coordinating everything so managing room stock or further housekeeping works should be optimised.
- Professional behaviour: Practice absolute confidentiality about guests’ happenings within our resort.
