As a Hotel Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the Front Office department, leading by example to ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, outstanding service throughout their stay, and a memorable farewell on departure. You will motivate and coach team members, resolve guest concerns, monitor departmental performance, and help maximise revenue through effective upselling opportunities.

This role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional overnight shifts as required by the business.

What You'll Bring To The Team

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify upselling opportunities and drive revenue.
  • A collaborative approach, working closely with departments across the hotel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards, company compliance and brand expectations.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts in line with operational requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
