Accommodation Team Leader
Housekeeping Team Leader Seasonal Contract – St Ives Bay Beach Resort, Hayle, TR27 5BH
Hours
- Seasonal contract with variable hours
- Weekend availability required
Salary £13.00 per hour, paid weekly
About the Role
You’ll be leading a team of cleaners at our holiday resorts, with the goal of ensuring every guest ranges from “Wow!” when they step into their accommodation. We need someone passionate about delivering delight—not just through exceptional cleanliness, but through motivating their team, tackling challenges efficiently, and making every guest feel valued.
We’re a friendly, fun-loving team dedicated to providing memorable holidays, and your organisation, positivity, and problem-solving skills will be key in ensuring smooth changeovers, guest satisfaction, and a big smile on every face.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and motivating a team of housekeeping staff
- Overseeing changeover days—coordinating tasks like preparing towel packs, dishwasher supplies, and handling last-minute booking adjustments
- Ensuring all accommodated is guest-ready on time, with no detail overlooked
- Resolving guest queries and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborating with team leaders and the wider resort team to maintain high standards
- Troubleshooting problems and adapting to the dynamic nature of holiday operations
- Working flexibly, including on bank holidays, to meet demand

Required Skills and Qualities
- Experience leading a team (motivating, delegating, and ensuring accountability)
- Housekeeping background, understanding the flow of tasks and maintaining high hygiene standards
- People skills – natural warmth, friendliness, and enthusiasm when interacting with guests and colleagues
- Strong organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks, manage details, and labour under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality or teamwork
