Account Coordinator

Account Coordinator | Hitchin | £28k-£30k

We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join our growing business based in Hitchin.

As an Account Coordinator, you will be the operational engine behind customer relationships—ensuring everything runs smoothly, customers stay informed, and nothing falls through the cracks. It’s fast-paced, detail-oriented, and—if you’re the right fit—just the beginning of an exciting career with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders end-to-end, from initial brief through to delivery confirmation
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts throughout the order journey
  • Track production progress and flag any orders at risk of missing deadlines
  • Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently, ensuring proactive updates
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and Sage to prevent information loss
  • Identify repeat or seasonal orders to pass to Account Managers for upselling opportunities
  • Develop product knowledge to assist customers confidently on their ordering choices

What We’re Looking For

We seek candidates with:

  • Relevant experience: Preferably in B2B customer-focused roles, such as order management or account support, or a recent graduate with ambition, drive, and eagerness to learn.
  • Communication skills: Confidence in email and phone correspondence, with a professional and customer-centred approach.
  • Organisational ability: Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage high-volume workloads, and effective prioritisation.
  • Ownership mindset: Proactive in resolving issues, taking pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • CRM experience: Familiarity with HubSpot or Sage is a bonus.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative, eager to contribute as part of a cohesive team.
