Role Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within Digital Trading and specifically the Digital Platform Team. The Digital Platform Team is responsible for our broker facing system, QuoteSME, our interactions with Software Houses and ensuring our solutions align with the Digital Trading values of being digital first and the easiest insurer to do business with.

You will work closely with the Digital Platform Manager to identify opportunities to improve our platform and products, through interactions with brokers, feedback from internal stakeholders and insight gained through e-trade market analysis. You will be responsible for implementing solutions to expand users’ knowledge of our systems and identifying opportunities to remove unnecessary friction in the broker and underwriter journey.

You will work closely with the rest of the Digital Trading team in Maidstone, Lancaster, Guildford and London to identify, understand and solve complex problems.

This role can be based from any of the following offices on a hybrid approach (2-3 days a week in the office): London, Maidstone, Lancaster or Guildford.

About You

  • Responsible for identifying and solving complex problems across a wide-scale business landscape, including stakeholder management and relevant analysis/investigation into root cause and solutions
  • Subject matter expert in digital trading and digital platforms
  • Managing relationships with software houses & suppliers such as Acturis and Polaris to drive business change
  • Working closely with brokers and monitoring market developments to identify areas for platform improvements
  • Driving system and process change as part of a wider business transformation programme
  • Co-ordinating business incidents where appropriate and conducting relevant root cause analysis/investigation and solutions/fixes post incident
  • Escalation point for system issues, outages, major incidents and technical queries
