The Role
As the Account Director, you are a key strategic lead for the brand's marketing initiatives for an integrated client with social-first thinking. You will be a primary senior client contact, responsible for driving the brand’s cultural relevance and orchestrating the delivery of innovative creative campaigns. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of the luxury landscape and modern marketing dynamics. You will lead your team to execute flawlessly while championing the use of our AI-powered platform, WPP Open, to deliver intelligent, data-driven insights and content at scale.
This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with possibility to extend.

- Serve as the senior day-to-day lead and trusted advisor for clients on all marketing strategies and activities.
- Lead the end-to-end management of integrated campaigns with social-first and influencer thinking, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and are strategically aligned with the brand's objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Client Service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Oversee the financial health of the account, including accurate scoping, budget management, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Creative leads to develop inspiring creative briefs that lead to best-in-class, idea-led work.
- Ensure the seamless integration of all campaign activities within the broader marketing mix, working closely with brand, media, and PR teams.
- Drive the strategic use of our intelligent operating system, WPP Open, for trend analysis, insight generation, and performance measurement to optimise campaigns in real-time.
Key Skills
- Senior Client Leadership: Proven experience managing senior client relationships, ideally for a major luxury or automotive brand, with extensive integrated marketing experience.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Demonstrable expertise in developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that build brand equity and drive business results.
- Team Leadership & Development: A skilled and motivational manager with a track record of leading high-performing teams and nurturing talent.
- Financial & Operational Management: Strong financial and commercial skills, with experience managing significant marketing budgets and ensuring account profitability.
- Modern Marketing & Digital Fluency: A deep, native understanding of the modern marketing landscape, digital culture, and the consumer journey, with an intuitive sense of what will resonate with a luxury audience.
- Integrated Campaign Management: Expertise in orchestrating complex, integrated campaigns and ensuring their effective integration with paid, owned, and earned media channels.
- Innovation & AI Fluency: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using analytics, listening tools, and AI-powered platforms to generate insights, measure ROI, and inform strategic decisions.
