The opportunity
As an Account Director at Worldline, you'll lead strategic client relationships and drive significant revenue growth within key market segments. You'll spearhead innovative payment solutions that address complex business challenges while enabling sustainable economic growth. Working with executive teams, you'll shape our market approach and mentor account teams to deliver exceptional value to our most important clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for major enterprise clients to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Lead high-value contract negotiations and close significant business deals with C-level executives
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance Worldline's market position
- Direct account teams to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and relationship management
- Create and present compelling business cases and strategic proposals to client executive teams
- Provide strategic insight on market trends and competitor activities to inform business planning
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure client success
- Mentor and develop account managers to build a high-performing team

Who are we looking for
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Proven senior leadership experience in managing strategic accounts in enterprise technology or financial services
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities at C-suite and board level across international organizations
- Demonstrated success in driving multi-million revenue growth and exceeding ambitious sales targets
- Strategic vision with ability to translate market insights into actionable business opportunities
- Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing account management teams
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and fintech market trends
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in complex deal structuring
- Track record of successful collaboration with product and technical teams
- International business experience with willingness to travel as required
