Account Director

The Account Director at AllPoints Fibre Networks will lead and grow strategic, high-value relationships with our largest wholesale partners. Acting as a senior commercial contact, you’ll engage at C-suite level, shape long-term strategies, and drive multimillion-pound revenue performance across some of our most important accounts.

What you will be doing

As an Account Director, you will:

  • Own and manage 1–2 major wholesale accounts with multimillion-pound revenues.
  • Build and maintain strong senior relationships, including C-suite engagement and executive-level presentations.
  • Drive long-term strategic account planning, aligning partner objectives with APFN’s commercial roadmap.
  • Shape and influence strategy with partners to deepen long-term commitment.
  • Negotiate and manage long-term commercial agreements.
  • Monitor performance, forecasts and revenue pipelines to maximise opportunities.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and service-expansion opportunities across wholesale Telco and SaaS markets.
  • Present complex commercial and technical propositions clearly and with influence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Technology and Operations to deliver an exceptional partner experience.
  • Ensure high levels of governance, compliance and data accuracy across all account activity.

Your Skills

Essential experience and knowledge:

  • Extensive experience in the telecoms or SaaS ecosystem, ideally within wholesale services.
  • Proven success managing and growing large strategic accounts with multimillion-pound revenues.
  • Strong C-suite engagement and presentation capability.
  • Deep understanding of long-term commercial agreements, deal shaping, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to develop and execute multi-year account strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial and technical information.
  • Experience driving strategic sales outcomes over longer cycles.

Desirable:

  • Experience in wholesale fibre, Ethernet, or UK Telco markets.
  • Background in SaaS commercial models or adjacent technology sectors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level preferred; advanced commercial or business qualification desirable.
