Account Director for an International Action Sports Brand

Contract type: Full-Time | Salary: Competitive | Reports to: Head of Account Management | Team: Account Management

About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded, strategic Account Director to lead one of Platform Media's key client partnerships. You'll own the strategic direction, commercial performance and day-to-day management of the account, leading integrated campaigns from brief through to delivery. Working closely with teams across Media, Production, Commercial, Social and Marketing, you'll deliver outstanding client service, identify growth opportunities and ensure campaigns achieve measurable results.

This role leads Platform Media's largest client campaign – an international Action Sports and Casino brand working with some of the biggest names in talent across Australia and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership

  • Build and maintain trusted senior client relationships.
  • Own all client communications, including status calls, campaign documentation and PCAs — building and maintaining project tracking documentation covering content, deliverables and status, as the single source of truth that streamlines internal and external communications.
  • Provide strategic recommendations grounded in a clear understanding of the client's business goals, with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting processes in place to evidence delivery against them.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow client partnerships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
