Account Director Cheshire (Hybrid)

At SA Communications, we build the brands people believe in, shape conversations and create cultural relevance for some of the most exciting names in beauty, wellness, health and medical aesthetics.
Since launching in 2017, we've grown organically into one of the UK's most respected specialist communications agencies, representing brands including Wild, P.Louise, Colgate, Marc Jacobs, Hairburst, Charles Worthington and many more.
We're now entering an exciting new phase of growth and are looking for an exceptional Account Director to help shape the next chapter of the business.
We're looking for somebody who can think strategically, lead confidently, inspire a team and become a trusted advisor to some of the most ambitious founders and brands in the industry.
The Opportunity
As Account Director, you will lead a portfolio of high-profile clients across beauty, wellness, lifestyle and medical aesthetics, ensuring exceptional results whilst helping to drive the continued growth of the agency.
You will work closely with our Founder & CEO, Sophie Attwood, helping to bring ambitious ideas and campaigns to life whilst empowering and developing the wider team around you.
This role would suit someone who loves the fast-paced nature of agency life, thrives on responsibility and is excited by the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a growing business.

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Acting as the strategic lead across a portfolio of key accounts
- Building trusted relationships with senior clients, founders and brand teams
- Creating proactive communications strategies that deliver meaningful commercial impact
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing team, helping them grow both professionally and personally
- Driving exceptional media results across national, consumer, trade and broadcast media
- Developing creative campaign ideas that generate conversation and cut through crowded markets
- Managing client retention, growth opportunities and commercial performance across accounts
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and new business development
- Ensuring work is delivered to the highest possible standard across the agency
- Contributing to the wider growth and evolution of SA Communications
What We're Looking For
You will likely have:
- 5+ years' experience within a PR or communications agency environment
- Significant experience across beauty, wellness, health, lifestyle or consumer brands
- Strong media relationships and a proven ability to secure impactful coverage
- Experience leading teams and developing junior talent
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and leading strategic conversations
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how PR contributes to wider business growth
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
