Performance Director
Location: Manchester
Salary: In line with market rate + bonus + benefits

Role Summary
A Client Partner Lead responsible for supporting the Strategic Performance Director in delivering the growth strategy on pillar clients or developing it on smaller ones. A highly proficient media planner with a comprehensive knowledge of all media channels and their respective roles in campaign objectives. A willingness to expand and develop their knowledge of our Technology, Performance Creative and Training offering. This role requires that the candidate takes on the responsibility of line management and personal development of their assigned team.

Communication
- Expert communicator, especially in presenting to senior client contacts or in new business pitches.
- Ensures client information is shared appropriately across internal teams.
- Is adept at challenging clients and suppliers as an authority on marketing strategy, as well as displaying diplomacy and influence whether by phone, email or face to face.
- Proactively contributes to the agency's marketing communications through case studies and blog submissions.
Role Management
- Relationship development with client-group marketing team, supporting Strategic Performance Director account strategy, client development and key stakeholder relationships.
- Building trust at every level of the client relationship.
- Manages resource across their client to ensure outstanding service delivery and quality of work.
- Confidently and effectively manages conflict or issues, delivering positive outcomes for both the client and agency.
- Demonstrates professional behaviours, both internal and external, and communicates expectations of professional behaviours to team.
- Manages and mentors the team in developing skills in this area.
Leadership & Initiative
- Takes on the responsibility of line management and personal development of their assigned team.
- Conducting appraisals, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
- Proactively acquires the skills of performance management and seeks training in these areas where required.
- Is an effective delegator with strong listening skills and the ability to support and motivate a team.
Strategic Excellence
- Is a highly proficient media planner with a comprehensive knowledge of all media channels and their respective roles in campaign objectives.
- Has a full understanding of all business division capabilities (media, technology, performance creative and training) and the ability to plan these within a client roadmap.
- Is an authority on appropriate spend by objective/ channel/ campaign, demonstrating confidence in challenging client approach and developing and evolving best practice.
- Has the ability to unearth and leverage growth opportunities for the client, without a brief.
- Develops robust strategies for clients and supports the learning/ training of more junior colleagues in the S&T planning process.
