About the Company

Guru Technology Limited is a UK-based telecoms and technology provider focused on empowering small and medium businesses (SMBs) with tailored mobile solutions, phone systems, security, IT support, and high-speed broadband. Founded in 2019, the company has grown from a dining room startup into one of the most highly rated telecoms businesses in the UK, holding a 5-star Google rating and serving hundreds of satisfied client partners.

Central to Guru Technology’s mission is clear, jargon-free communication, delivering genuine support and flexible contracts to help SMBs navigate a dynamic marketplace. The team thrives on a purpose-driven culture, fostering integrity, collaboration, and shared ambition to become the trusted growth partner for SMBs.

About the Role

This is a pivotal Account Manager position focused on cross-selling innovative telecoms and technology solutions to existing clients while ensuring retention and renewal of core contracts. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in account management, cross-selling, and telecoms/IT—privileged to work closely with the Managing Director in delivering high-value outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-selling multi-product deals: Lead efforts to introduce phone systems, broadband, security, and IT support solutions to existing clients, leveraging their trust relationship to drive incremental revenue.
  • Account retention & renewal: Ensure high renewal rates on core services while identifying and addressing risks to churn.
  • Client relationship management: Maintain long-term client satisfaction through personalised engagement, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Stakeholder management: Coordinate with internal teams (sales, IT, and technical support) to execute projects, deliver projects on time, and manage expectations.
  • Performance tracking: Monitor KPIs and CRM data to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.
  • Solution proposals: Develop tailored technical and commercial proposals, translating complex offerings into client-facing advantages.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
