Eagle Search are proud to be partnered with a fast-growing, well-funded clean tech technology company to appoint an Account Director to support its commercial expansion across the UK.
The business has developed an AI-powered software platform that helps organisations make faster, more informed commercial and investment decisions through a combination of high-quality data, advanced analytics, and intuitive technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth. Having established a strong reputation with leading organisations in North America, including energy developers, hyperscale technology companies, and global financial institutions, the company is now investing significantly in its UK commercial team as it continues to expand internationally.
As one of the early commercial hires in the region, you'll play a key role in establishing the company's UK presence, developing relationships with senior stakeholders, and helping organisations across the energy ecosystem leverage data to solve increasingly complex business challenges.

Responsibilities
- Execute the UK go-to-market strategy, engaging senior decision-makers across energy, infrastructure, utilities, financial services, and adjacent markets.
- Drive commercial growth by identifying, developing, and closing new enterprise opportunities.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic prospects across a range of target accounts.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to negotiation, contracting, and account expansion.
- Develop strategic account plans and tailored engagement strategies for key customers and prospects.
- Consult with clients to understand their commercial objectives and demonstrate how the platform's data and analytics capabilities can support better decision-making.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across the UK.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Research teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Provide market feedback and customer insight to help shape future product development and commercial strategy.

Qualifications
- Proven success in a quota-carrying enterprise sales role selling SaaS, analytics, data, business intelligence, or technology solutions.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable building new markets, generating opportunities from scratch, and operating autonomously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Naturally curious, commercially minded, and motivated by solving complex customer challenges.
- Experience selling into the energy, infrastructure, utilities, industrial, financial services, or adjacent sectors is advantageous but not essential.
- Thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and excited by the opportunity to make a significant commercial impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
