Salary: Up to £95,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Sector: Facilities Management (Hard & Soft Services)

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Director to lead the delivery of a prestigious Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract within Central London.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute and operationally driven Facilities Management professional to take ownership of a high-profile account, leading both Hard and Soft Services delivery while developing strong client relationships and driving continued contract growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the account, ensuring operational excellence, financial success, compliance, customer satisfaction, and the ongoing development of high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall delivery of a high-profile TFM contract, ensuring all operational and commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Manage integrated Hard and Soft FM services, ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations are consistently met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Drive contract retention, growth, and service improvement opportunities.
  • Hold full responsibility for contract P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Identify efficiencies and commercial opportunities to improve profitability and service delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual, and company requirements.
  • Promote a positive health, safety, and compliance culture across the account.
  • Lead risk management activities and governance processes.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure service excellence across all service lines.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with client and business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, driving engagement and performance.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver regular client reviews and performance reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Account Director, Contract Director, Senior Operations Manager, or similar FM leadership role.
  • Strong background managing Total Facilities Management contracts incorporating both Hard and Soft Services.
  • Demonstrable experience managing large-scale client relationships and complex FM operations.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, profitability, forecasting, and contract growth.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, risk management, and statutory obligations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Engineering or technical qualification desirable.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM, or equivalent professional qualification advantageous.
