Account Director

Account Director Location: Bristol — 1 day per week in the office, remainder remote Salary: Up to £60,000 basic + car allowance + OTE £150,000+ Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

All applicants must have:

  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • At least 5 years + experience working in the Microsoft Managed Services Space

About the Role

We are working with a well-established and growing MSP based in Bristol to find an experienced Account Director to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior sales professional who is ready to:

  • Take ownership of a warm portfolio of accounts
  • Drive significant revenue growth across a broad technology portfolio

You will inherit an established customer base with existing relationships, creating real opportunities to grow. The role focuses on:

  • Building trusted, long-term partnerships with clients
  • Positioning the business as their go-to technology partner across:
    • Managed Services
    • Infrastructure
    • Cloud
    • AI
    • Security

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of a portfolio of existing client accounts and building deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Driving revenue growth through cross-sell and upsell across:
    • Managed Services
    • Infrastructure
    • Cloud
    • AI
    • Security
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the existing account base
  • Working consultatively with clients to:
    • Understand their business challenges
    • Position the right solutions
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to close
  • Collaborating with pre-sales, delivery and solutions teams to design and present compelling propositions
  • Accurately forecasting and reporting:
    • Pipeline activity
    • Revenue performance
  • Representing the business at:
    • Client meetings
    • Industry events
    • Senior stakeholder engagements

About You

You must have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior sales or account management role within a Microsoft-focused MSP environment
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a technology sales environment
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Managed Services
    • Cloud (Microsoft Azure/M365)
    • Infrastructure
    • AI and Security solutions
  • Experience in managing and growing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts
  • Confidence in selling at C-suite and senior decision-maker levels
  • Commercial acumen to build:
    • Strong business cases
    • ROI-led proposals
  • Ability to:
    • Self-motivate and stay results-driven
    • Manage your own time and pipeline effectively
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A Full UK driving licence
