The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced medcomms professional to join our growing Client Services team as an Account Director, leading a high-profile global account that combines medical affairs and publications programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a large, well-established, globally integrated team, where account teams are blended across regions to provide seamless support to clients around the world. You'll lead strategic client relationships while overseeing a diverse portfolio of deliverables spanning traditional scientific communications and innovative digital engagement.
This is a busy, fast-paced account with exciting growth plans, offering significant opportunities to develop both your career and your team while helping shape the future direction of a long-term client partnership.

As Account Director, you'll provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of medical communications activities while ensuring exceptional client service and commercial success.

- Lead integrated medical communications programmes across medical affairs and publications.
- Provide oversight of publications deliverables, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, publication planning and publication extenders.
- Lead medical affairs programs, including advisory boards, scientific meetings, omnichannel campaigns, digital engagement programmes and other strategic communication activities.
- Partner with scientific, editorial, creative and digital colleagues to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
- Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client partnerships.
- Manage complex project portfolios, deliver programmes on time, within scope and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage financial performance across the account, including forecasting, budgeting, profitability, resource planning and revenue management.
- Support business development activities.
About You
You'll be an accomplished client services leader with medical communications agency experience and have experience building client partnerships.
You'll bring:
- Experience within a medical communications agency, at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level.
- Experience leading both medical affairs and publications programmes for global pharmaceutical clients.
- Strategic client management skills with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent commercial and financial skills, including budget ownership, forecasting, revenue management and profitability.
- Experience managing large global accounts, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
