The Opportunity
You will act as the senior accountable lead for all hard FM services, ensuring the building is operated to world-class standards. This includes responsibility for engineering excellence, compliance, client relationship management, the continuous enhancement of asset management performance, and building optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across all hard FM services (M&E, compliance, lifecycle, and technical operations)
- Act as the primary client interface, building trusted, executive-level relationships
- Ensure 100% compliance across all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing engineering and management team
- Drive innovation, sustainability, and energy optimisation initiatives
- Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and commercial opportunities
- Manage specialist contractors and supply chain partners to best-in-class standards
- Deliver continuous improvement and maintain the building’s premium reputation
- Harness data technology and reporting to drive standards and efficiency

- Proven experience operating at Client Director / Senior FM leadership level within hard services
- Strong technical background in M&E / building engineering
- Experience managing trophy assets, critical environments, or flagship commercial properties
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage at senior stakeholder / client level
- Deep understanding of UK compliance, H&S, and statutory obligations
- Commercially astute with strong financial management capability
- A visible, credible leader who sets standards and drives accountability
