LIFE AS A SATALIAN

As an organisation, we push the boundaries of data science, optimisation and artificial intelligence to solve the most complex problems in industry. Satalia, a WPP Company, is a community of individuals devoted to working on diverse and challenging projects, allowing you to flex your technical skills whilst working with a tight knit team of high performing colleagues.

Led by our founder (who is also WPP’s Chief AI Officer), Satalia’s ambition is to become a decentralised organisation of the future. Today this involves developing tools and processes to liberate and automate manual repetitive tasks, with a focus on freedom, transparency and trust. At the core of our thinking is an approach to wellbeing and inclusivity. We unpack human behaviour and unpick prejudice to ensure a safe and inviting environment. We offer true flexible working and allow our employees to find the working practice that makes them most productive. At Satalia, your opinion matters and your achievements are celebrated.

THE ROLE

WPP’s investment in AI and tech has enabled us to embed capabilities from end-to-end marketing operating processes, through people planning and allocation to supply chain accelerators. We are now growing the Connect team using this ecosystem to enable their growth. The core function of the role is to retain and drive revenue within existing clients with valuable solutions that will help bring AI to as many users and businesses as possible.

Our Connect team has a unique mission to help customers & partners understand the deep impact that highly capable AI models can bring to their business and users. This role is a mixture of technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy.

You’ll be a key driver of opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. You’ll work with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to help customers evolve their industry with AI.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Working on key clients

  • Own day-to-day leadership for a portfolio of strategic existing clients in our logistics domain, ensuring delivery excellence and measurable value.
  • Drive retention and growth by identifying expansion opportunities, shaping account plans, and coordinating the right Satalia teams to deliver.
  • Partner closely with the Client Director on priorities, stakeholder mapping, quarterly business reviews, and commercial forecasting.
  • Anticipate risks and remove blockers early, maintaining high client satisfaction and long-term account health.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Developing partnership relationships with key clients

  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with senior stakeholders, moving engagements from project delivery to long-term partnership.
  • Proactively uncover client objectives and pain points, translating them into a roadmap of initiatives (including new use cases, pilots, and scaled rollouts).
  • Lead commercial conversations on renewals, scope evolution, and value articulation, working with the Client Director on pricing/contracting where needed.
  • Facilitate regular governance: steering meetings, exec updates, and clear decision pathways.

Being the voice of the client at Satalia

  • Represent the client’s perspective internally—ensuring we understand their goals, constraints, decision dynamics, and success metrics.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable improvements across product, delivery and ways of working; close the loop with clear communication back to the client.
  • Advocate for prioritisation and resourcing that best supports client outcomes, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term relationship value.
  • Ensure client learnings are captured and shared to improve how Satalia serves similar accounts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Are customer-centric and operationally strong. You can translate client goals into a clear account plan, delivery roadmap, and day-to-day actions. You run tight governance (weekly/monthly cadences, QBRs), track actions to closure, and ensure stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Are excellent at stakeholder and relationship management. You build trusted relationships across client teams (commercial, ops, data/analytics, IT, procurement) and can navigate decision-makers, blockers, and competing priorities—knowing when to escalate and how to land outcomes.
  • Have hands-on account and commercial management capability. You’re comfortable owning renewals, expansions, pipeline hygiene, and forecasting; writing SOWs/change requests; supporting contracting and procurement processes; and clearly articulating value/ROI.
  • Can run complex delivery coordination. You can work effectively with technical and delivery teams to scope work, define success metrics, manage timelines and dependencies, and communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs in a way clients understand.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication. You produce crisp client-facing updates and internal briefs; you can facilitate meetings, capture decisions/actions, and ensure follow-through.
  • Have curiosity and practical fluency in AI. You don’t need to be hands-on technical, but you can understand what’s feasible, ask the right questions, and help clients adopt AI capabilities responsibly (governance, data readiness, change management).
  • Are a problem-solver with good judgement. You stay calm under pressure, work through ambiguity, and proactively resolve issues—balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term relationship health.
