Account Director

Account Director – Retail Marketing & POS

📍 Hybrid | Watford (2 days onsite) + Home Working

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join our team, leading strategic client relationships while delivering innovative Point of Sale (POS) solutions for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines commercial acumen with outstanding client management skills and has a strong background in 2D or 3D POS—ideally both.


About the Role

You’ll act as the trusted partner to your clients, taking ownership of operational delivery, commercial performance, and strategic growth. Working closely with internal creative, production, and supply chain teams, you’ll ensure seamless project delivery while identifying value-add opportunities and driving innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Build and develop senior client relationships.
  • Lead the successful delivery of retail marketing and POS programmes.
  • Drive account growth, profitability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Identify new opportunities across Paragon’s full portfolio of services.

Requirements

We’re seeking commercially minded Account Directors who thrive in a fast-paced agency or retail marketing environment, enjoy solving complex client challenges, and possess:

  • Significant Account Director or Senior Account Manager experience.
  • Proven expertise in delivering 2D POS, 3D POS, or ideally both.
  • Experience in print/direct mail campaigns.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting and account profitability management.
  • A collaborative approach with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ability to travel to the Watford office for two days per week.
